Truck hits bike in Nihal Vihar, two dead

NEW DELHI: Two men were killed and two children were severely injured when the motorcycle in which they were riding was hit by a truck in Nihal Vihar in west Delhi in the wee hours on Monday.
"Mohammad Syed (25) was driving the motorcycle while his relative, Sakir (20), and the children (aged six and eight) were riding pillion when the incident took place.A PCR van rushed the victims to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, where doctors declared the two men dead," said Jai Singh, SHO, Nihal Vihar.
"The two injured children are in ICU and are in critical condition," the SHO added.
The truck driver managed to escape from the spot. A case has been registered, and a hunt is on to nab the driver, police said.
